Hi, I'm

Chris

Full-stack Developer & AI Builder

I build web applications, smartphone apps, AI voice agents, privacy gateways and agent pipelines in TypeScript, from spec to operations.

About me

Code that actually solves problems.

I'm a software developer and build applications from the frontend to the database, with TypeScript, React, NestJS and PostgreSQL. Today my focus is full-stack development for web and apps, plus AI products: agents that talk on the phone, protect data and take over whole processes.

My repos are private. That's why this site shows exactly how each project works, the skills it took and what went wrong along the way.

Skills

What I bring

Full-stack development

Web apps with React and Next.js, mobile with Expo, APIs with NestJS, data models with PostgreSQL and Prisma.

AI and agents

Real-time voice agents, tool calling and MCP, RAG, agent pipelines with gates, local inference and custom evaluation.

Real-time systems

Phone audio bridged live to models, barge-in, streaming without split tokens, Media3 on Android.

Security and privacy

RBAC and ABAC with CASL, 2FA, token rotation, fail-closed design and GDPR workflows built into the code.

Data engineering

Idempotent ingestion, revisions and resumable bulk loads on large datasets.

Infrastructure and ops

Linux servers, nginx, deploy scripts with health checks, monitoring, Docker and parts of AWS with Pulumi.

How I work

How I build software

I decide what gets built and how: I settle the requirements, set the specs, make the architecture decisions and define the standards every change has to meet. I direct a team of agents for implementation, review, research and plan critique, and I check on the running system that the result really holds up. Claude Code writes most of the code, inside an agent workflow I developed myself.

  1. 1

    Interview

Requirements and edge cases get settled before a plan exists: what exactly should the feature do, what must never happen, and how do we know it's finished? Only once that's answered does the work move on.

  2. 2

    Spec

The feature is written down before it is built. My largest project has 13 spec files and about 60 recorded architecture decisions.

  3. 3

    Plan critic

A separate agent attacks the plan before a line of code exists. It looks for faulty reasoning, missed cases and wrong assumptions. Whatever it finds gets fixed in the plan, where a change is still cheap.

  4. 4

    Slices

Small steps that can each be checked, held to written standards for code and architecture.

  5. 5

    Review

Separate agents implement and review. Hooks enforce the rules, for example a turn cannot end on a red tree.

  6. 6

    Proof

On the running system, not just in tests: break the code on purpose and check that the right test goes red.

Career

Where I come from

“He always completed the tasks assigned to him to our complete satisfaction.”
Employment reference from BrickUp GmbH, February 2026 (translated)
  1. Own AI products

    since 03/2026

    Eigene Projekte

Building AI Voice and AI Guard.

  2. Software developer

    06/2025 to 02/2026

    BrickUp GmbH

Full-stack with NestJS, React and Expo, AWS infrastructure, a CASL permission system and the ImmoScout24 pipeline. Ended by company-wide job cuts.

  3. Software developer

    02/2025 to 05/2025

    dfv Mediengruppe, Frankfurt

Backend architecture and technical modernisation proposals, presented to the leadership team.

  4. Apprenticeship and employment

    08/2022 to 01/2025

    JustTrade (Fintech)

Apprenticeship as an IT specialist in application development (IHK, finished 01/2025). Worked around a trading platform with React, Node.js and NestJS in a regulated business.

  5. Sales

    2019 to 2022

    Concentrix, Telemarkt, gevekom, Direktverkauf

Phone sales and running a sales stand on my own. A B2B sales course followed in 2026. It is why I also like talking to the people I build for.

Let's build something.
